im mexican and i also dont believe that he was the best mexican fighter of all time. IMO sal sanchez in his rather short career, accomplished more than chavez. wins over laporte, d. lopez (x2), nelson, and gomez > wins over taylor*, camacho, rosario, bogus draw with whitaker

I think JCC was a great fighter. Bert Sugar has him above Hagler on his all time list. I think Bert might have been on some Water.....

Chavez is the best from Mexico.

A few years back, Ring magazine had him as the best 130 pounder and second best 140 pounder of the last 100 years.

They got him as 18 in the greatest fighters of the last 80 years, while they put Salvador Sanchez at 24 and Ruben "EL PUAS" Olivares at 29.

              Oscar is 75, lol.

He's got wins over Mayweather twice, Rosario, Ramirez, Camacho, Taylor, La Porte, Castillo, Martinez, Lockridge, Limon and about 100 others.

He's Numero Uno from Mexico, no dispute about it.

Randall didn't have Suliamna and King in his backpocket. I have light sparred with Frankie after and a find it real runny Chavez finally had the balls to face him when he was shot and been in prison and took the harder road and wasn't bitter. But Chavez lost all my respect. And if you still have it you are, delusiional, a fool or a straight up nuthugger. Sal Sanchez would have boxed his ears off, Olivares woul'nt have looked for his promoter to bail him out, Hell Jesus Pimimental "little Poison" wouldn't quit like a *****, Face Facts. Watch the Fight and tell me I am wrong and still a Chavez fan after seek you local Physc Unit and enter reality.

Don't under rate Randell because you hate Chavez actions. I thought he was winning but i havn't seen the fight in a long time. And its a rule in the WBC that the uncut fighter gets a point taken away.

Randell later got ****ty decisions in Coggi v. Randell thats a guy you have to complain about. Randell later got the belt and defended it a few times to lead to a rematch with Chavez but Randell lost the belt. And say what you want but both Chavez and Randell were done as top fighter when they faced off in there 3rd fights.

Randell was a good fighter and King tried to make him a superstar but he started with bad luck with the Coggi fight. He made some good money and i hope he invested well. He was a good fighter no doubt he proved it against Chavez. But i think Randell fought the fight of his life in the first fight agianst Chavez. In his prime Chavez was a no bull**** fighter.

About being the best fighter out of Mexico, Chavez will tell you he ain't but others like R. Lopez, C.Gonzalez and others will tell you its Chavez. I've talked to various people and each have there favorite. I did hear about Sanchez in a boxing gym and the 2 boxing trainers that were there they belived Sanchez was better, others will say Olivares. And one used to tell me how great a puncher Cuevas was and thanks to youtube i have gotten to see just how deadly he was as a fighter.

Sanchez is definitely the greatest Mexican fighter ever. #2 is close between Chavez and Lopez.

It depends who you ask and how old they are.
OLD School Mexicans 40-50+ will say Ruben Olivares
All the Younger Mexicans will say without a doubt Chavez.

I know that the Left hook to the body was something Olivares PERFECTED first. I love that Olivares vs Rose fight
