Im not gonna praise Williams like he is the best ever, but were talking about Golden Schlong here. He fought most of his fights at 140 and Margarito didn't go up two weight classes to fight him. I know Williams has height and reach, but that's a lame excuse for saying he should be fighting guys his own size. If he can make the weight than he can fight there. I know you Marg huggers are still upset that Paul beat your guy in there last fight, but hey Margarito can step up and avenge that loss if he wants. It's the biggest fight at WW and needs to happen.

Im sure if some people stepped up at 147 he would have fought them. He was looking for one, but nobody came calling.

No one is criticizing for taking that fight, its the fact that he is being over hyped BECAUSE of that fight that is the issue here. You even read yourself when these same kids criticizing Cotto for fighting Gomez who had been fighting at MW. Cotto managed to give Gomez his first KD and KO and that "wasnt impressive" at all. Gomez is a far more accomplished fighter than Kole yet Williams is now seen as the biggest threat to ANY division because he moved to the weight class he started out in and beat the all mighty Kole? ha

Johnson was a much higher class fighter than Kolle. It isn't even close. Williams not having to make weight made him even better.

I didn’t cap on Margarito for the Johnson bout and I definitely wouldn’t cap on him if he fought a bum that’s 2 weight classes above either
