I'm not a Williams fan and actually I'm against him fighting at 147 too. I've said on many occasions that he should be fighting at smw or even lhw where he is more suited. I hate height mismatches cuz they always make for very boring fights. But I believe Wlliams is doing this cuz there is more money in the ww division right now and also because he plans on moving up in the future to take over other divisions and he probably wants to take over as many divisions as possible.

with all due respect williams needs to shut up with his made up claims that people are scared of him. Does he like to pretend like quintana doesn't want the third fight? Margarito went out and tried to make fights with people. He kindly like a true man and im being serious he went up to mayweather shook his hand and asked him for a fight. he didn't go on tv talking about him 24/7 and downplaying him. Mayweather also handled it like a man shook his hand and told him he'll get his chance and that it will be bigger and better down the road.(we'll see if it happens). Arum not margarito presented a fight to mosley and his camp and they turned it down and that was that. They also went to Winky for a fight and winky turned it down and that was that. Margarito never made any claims towards fighters or claimed himself as the most feared man on the planet. When asked about floyd after the cotto fight he simply said floyd is now retired so he probably wont come back and fight me. When asked about a DLH fight he simply told de la hoya "you wanted the winner of this fight well here i am, hopefully you keep your word". Margarito continued to fight top 10 ww's to work his way up. It's just annoying seeing williams fighting at ww and claiming no one wants to fight him when quintana wants a rematch. To top it off the dude should stay at mw and call out people there, im sure he'd have no problem landing big fights there, but he chooses to starve himself and fight at 147 so that's his problem. If you walked out to your hood and seen this 6-3, 6-4 dude calling out 5-8, 5-9 dudes claiming he is the **** cause he'll knock them out are you really going to be impressed?

pavlik stepped up to him and offered him a contract and that coward williams backed out and asked for more money. he priced himself out. i would have loved to see williams get brutally knocked out. this is the reason arum dont want to deal with williams anymore. educate yourself.

****, you like to hear yourself talk huh? Arum is not letting any of his fighters match up with Williams. He used the Pavlik negotiation as leverage to make Haymon his excuse for keeping Margarito, Cotto and Clottey away from him. I hate to break it to you, but Arum is praying Cotto beats Margarito next year. Margarito was always Arum's red-headed stepchild. Arum knew how tough he was and how durable, but he knew Margarito will never be a star. Williams will.
