Because Hatton was defending his 140 lb title, and Mosley or Judah haven't fought at that weight in many years. He only moved up when fighting for world titles, and Mosley and Judah don't have one. Is there anything about that you don't understand?

I strongly disagree with your opinions. You clearly aint seen any of Cotto's earlier fights. Hatton is good but he aint no Cotto. Cotto killed himself for two years to make that weight. Without being too disrespectfull did you see what Cotto Did to Quintanna? did you see how well he did against Sugar Shane? Look at his foot work in the aformentioned fight and compare Hattons. Cotto has an incredible k.o %. as i said before i strongly disagree with what you have said about Cotto. Hatton is one of my favourites but he aint a better boxer than Cotto IMO.

I didn't say that hatton was better I said he was better at closing the distance and has faster feet, mosley stood and fought him until the middle rounds and then started to box when mosley began to box he was giviing cotto problems and was winning convincingly, I also said that cotto was not a one punch ko artist but that he beat his opponents buy an accumulation of punishment, and quintana is not the boxer that mosley is, and yes I have seen all or most of cotto's fights but I still think hatton is a better matchup stylistically for paulie and believe that he should still win.

Ok, I've corrected Ricky's quote to more accurately reflect what's going to happen.

Ricky is nuts if he thinks he can do what Cotto wasn't able to do. Paulie will probably hurt his hands in the middle rounds and, even though he'll have won the first 5-6 rounds, he'll lose a bull**** lopsided decision in the UK since he'll have to fight differently after his hands are broken.
Paulie retires after this fight, btw, but not because of what Ricky will do to him but because he'll realize he can't fight with glass hands.

Shane Mosely skipped the entire 140lb division altogether. I believe he was fighting at 54 at the time.
