Watch Hattons eariler fights he's a very good boxer and his footwork is second to none. He only started holding since/after Kostya fight.

Spot on mate. Ive been saying this too. Unfortunately most people think Hatton only started boxing after Tsyzu.

He looked terrific against Tackie. Obviously Malignaggi is a different prospect but those who say Hatton doesnt have boxing ability are ignorant.

i hope Hatton dont try to outbox Paulie, cuz he will lose. I think Hatton is thinking like trinidad did when he fought Winky, that because in the early years of his career he was a above average boxer, he could out box the real boxer. But that didnt happend then and that aint happening now!! Both guys have a great opportunity to win and I give Paulie a great great chance to win since he is faster and quicker than Hatton and now that hatton is very suceptable to the left hooks! Anyway either guy could win. But Im going with Paulie giving a surprise. SD

Hatton is delusional...He won't outbox malignaggi eventhough he is a feather fist fighter he is a excellent boxer...He definitely won't ko him because cotto couldn't even do it when he had his jaw broken....Dude has a lot of heart...I wouldn't be surprise if it was an upset..

I have been watching Ricky's fights recently and i just remembered why i fell in love with his style in the first place. Ricky can box but people seem to look at the Collazo fight and the Urango fights and think he spoils too much.

Look at these guys compared to Paulie. He was fighting bigger men back then and to be honest done what had to be done to win the fight.

Up untill two weeks ago i though Pauie would win a SD or even a UD but after watching Ricky's old fights that i aint seen in ages his body and feet movement is excellent his speed is also pretty good.

The Cotto that fought Paulie had been starving his body for 2 years and is not the Cotto we know today.

Hatton can box. Although its not the technical boxing we all love he has an effective boxing style and can box without constantly applying pressure which people seem to think is his only one chance.

Everybody should watch the first 4 rounds against Floyd then tell me he cant box..

And his eye was broken too. Paulie would easily outbox Hatton. In a boxing match, Paulie could come close to KO'ing Hatton as his defense is terrible and chin is suspect. I am still picking Paulie by UD, in an entertaining but lopsided scoring match. Paulie throws combinations. Hatton might even quit on his stool or his corner stop the fight due to the accumulated punishment.
