Based on this statement I can only conclude you have never seen either boxer fight. Taylor has never 'looked good' against any of his opponents starting at his first Hopkins fight, whereas Kessler has 'looked good' against everyone from Siaca onwards, including the fight he lost against Calzaghe.

What worries me is that I presume you actually have seen some of Taylor's fights and maybe Calzaghe Kessler too. Where do you get your opinions from?

Then I said that if anything, he should be targeting Pavlik NOW.

Is that clear enough for you?
He has stated that Pavlik is his career goal now. And he has called Pavlik out. Pavlik hasn't responded so what can Kessler do?

        Agreed.

What can Kessler do? Continue to seek out top opponents. There are plenty at LHW that would love the opportunity.

        Glen Johnson?

        Dawson-Tarver winner?

Sorry - i am from Denmark but i ask you for the 4. time. Which elite fighter should Kessler had beating before the fight against Calzaghe?

Easy fight for Mikkel. Michelle, however, will likely Kessler.

I very much doubt that the Dawson v Tarver winner will want much to do with Kessler, but I bet Glen Johnson would fight him. In fairness there would be no harm in Kessler taking on a LHW guy like this if he cannot make a fight with Pavlik or Taylor. It would force his name into the reckoning.

                WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??

What part of "NEXT" equals before Calzaghe??

WHERE DO I SAY HE SHOULD HAVE BEATEN AN ELITE FIGHTER BEFORE CALZAGHE??

I said the next one he beats will be the first. WHICH IS TRUE! He has ALREADY stepped up once and he was sent back DOWN in lopsided fashion!

I understand you're a Dane but you're writing in English and I'm explaining for the fourth time. ENOUGH!

He will. He wants to fight in the US, but nobody has wanted to fight him. It takes 2 to tango. Compare Kessler to Pavlik and the doublestandard is evident. Pavlik gets a freebee in fighting Gary Lockett. Kessler gets ridiculed for hospitalizing an undefeated fighter after a depressing loss to Joe.

Then Kessler has a mandatory and some posters cry for him to fight some 'live' opponents. At the same time Pavlik receives nothing but love for taking on a washed-up 43 year-old. Honestly:

I should add though, that this does tend to overlook Kessler's status as the #1 ranked SMW, which suggests that all things being equal it is the likes of Jermain Taylor who should be seeking to fight Kessler to 'prove' themselves in the division, rather than Kessler having to leave his division behind, seeking to fight gatekeepers for the somewhat intangible gain of making his 'name'. In purely boxing terms and business and TV aside there should really be no doubt about Kessler's right to participate in 'big fights'.

Kessler is very similar to Pavlik IMO, Kessler UD. Taylor has looked horrible against Spinks, Ouma, Wright and Hopkins. Kessler wins
