plus......cotto might not be right in the head yet. cotto is the best skilled at 147 right now imo but a first loss especially a ko loss is hard to recover from.

shane will take punishment from marg but he can take marg's punches. shane is much more suited to the style cotto fought with against marg than cotto is. shane has a great chin.

Yea I aways disliked Forrest, I think his entire legacy is based around his wins over Sugar Shane, and he only won due to a bad style match up. And yea, Shane has never looked his best at 154. It's a shame that people look at those and think Shane isn't as great as he is.

they don't take into account the quality of opponents.

vernon imo was the 2nd best 147 to shane after oscar and tito moved up. shane was better but bad style match up.

winky was the best 154 guy period and shane is a natural 140 guy to me though he never fought there. shame. kostya-shane would've been a beautiful sight.

shane fought those 2 guys (vernon and winky) when NO ONE bothered with them. too much risk not enough money. shane also had the balls to do an immediate rematch.

shane was the man. if he avoided vernon and winky (like what every top 147-154 guy did) people would realize he's better than FLOYD. yeah i said it!
