Mayweather doesn't put on any weight after the weigh-in, though. When he was a lightweight he'd only put on around 3-5 pounds after the weigh-in, at WW he puts on a pound or two at the most. I'm not asking him to lose muscle, just drop water weight like Margarito, Williams, Cotto. Those guys aren't fat but they drain 15+ pounds for a weigh-in, I think Mayweather can comfortably drop 7 unless his body is that opposed to dehydration.
looks like Mayweather is sparring again(rumor)

Perhaps a fight with Pacquiao at "Pacquiao's weight". Despite him weighing the same as Hatton during the fight, most people say that the fight being at 147 tarnished the victory because it wasn't Ricky's natural weight class. Other than that, he'd probably have no reason to go back down. It's a shame that 140 is such a shallow division because that is where his true prime would have been.Comment

I think almost everyone would prefer that he fight cotto or marg next, but I see a potential match with Pac as being what brings him out of retirement. I just want him back in the ring, whether it's at 135, 140 or 147.Comment
