looks like Mayweather is sparring again(rumor)

I'm starting this rumor but it's totally legit. Check out this video of Floyd. His cheeks are dark like he's been punched and it looks like he might have a shiner.

By the way, since Manny and JMM have been moving up in weight Floyd could fight them at 135 and make a lot of money. They also have names he'd like to put on his resume. So I have a question. If Floyd moves down to 135 will he be slower or less powerful than he was previously at 135? I imagine he would have to lose some muscle to move back down to 135 and it could take a toll on his body.

Moving down at this point would be a bad move. He's been at 147 for a while now.

lol he does look like he has a pretty big bump around his left eye. I dunno though maybe he's just staying in shape! he's an athelet for life ya know! Plus floyd is not a natural ww he can easily make 135 and 140 and now he would not be slowed down not one bit. Floyd at 135 was faster than he is at 147.

Yeah it's because Edner Cherry gave him another beating.

Why do you think it's so easy to move down two divisions after being in another one for years and getting older.

Rogelio, you of all people should know how hard it is

          Is your cut better?
You planning on rematching that dude or you gonna move on?

I agree. Even though I'm pretty sure he could make 135 working out hard, it would be a bad move on his part. Especially considering how fighters at 135lbs are moving up ala Manny Pacquiao. If he came back theres more money and not to mention more options at 147 and/or at 140.

Its just inheritance. Have you seen Floyd Sr.? Everytime I see it looks like he got caught up in between Gatti-Ward.

i dont think any fighter who retires can just drop the sport completely. he may just be putting in a couple of rounds for health.

Nothing there indicates that he's even contemplating a comeback (unfortunately).

Maybe not 2 divisions, but Mayweather comes into his WW fights at 146-148 which is what some super feathers and lightweights come in at. I think Junior Welter would be very easy for Floyd and have always believed it be his natural prime weight.

But when he's fighting it looks like he has very little body fat despite weighing more than at the weigh in.
You're asking him to lose muscle basically... when you're very fit 5-10-15 pounds can be damn near impossible to shed.
And now after a layoff, forget it.
