I think he would. A fight with De La Hoya would get Pac main stream exposure, and a win would be big. Add to that Pac is the P4P #1. You have a few things to build up there.

good point......i think if Manny pulls off the win it gives Floyd a lot of incentives to return:

- BIG BIG MONEY

- Chance to be P4P #1 again

- Beat the so called "best fighter in the world" (i know i know......thats up for debate but Manny being P4P #1, thats what the "media" says)

- If he beats Manny more impressively than Manny beat DLH.....it sorta wipes away some of his tarnish left from the 1st DLH bout

The De La Hoya fight makes Manny a bigger name, if he wins it confirms his place as P4P #1 (IMO). So then Money Mayweather comes back and reclaims his throne, and the fight would be huge.

I can seriously see it happening in 2009, If Manny beats DLH, and that is a very big if.

So I guess it was a good bet...When I saw how Donaire ( excuse my spelling) did Darchynian...I was amazed on how he took it to Vic...He was hitting Vic with some good shots...I like how Donaire would swithc his stance and fire that hook at...HAHA, it was a thing of beauty...I then heard he (Vic) was going to fight Mijares and I pretty much came to that conclusion myself...I think I'm starting to like Mijares (no ****) He's a complete boxer IMO..or at least from the only fights that I've seen.

If I was going to bet this fight I would take Mijares all day. Darchinyan has a punchers chance, but Mijares is the bigger more skilled fighter and has been in with better comp.

The fight Im pining for is Mijares-Donaire should they both win their next fights. That would be a great fight imo.
