As much as I am against ODLH-Pacman fight if they want to make it a boxing vs ufc thing I say we band together and knock them out of the water.

I doubt it, the most this guy has been training is maybe 2 years. I wonder why he didn't try and do the same with boxing.

It's just funny that guys in mma make it more on name recognition than actual fighting skill. The fact that a bum like kimbo and a wwe superstar are the biggest names in mma speaks volumes about the skill needed to be a top mma fighter. UFC is all hype and no substance.

plus one small factor (dunno how big this'll be into the large scheme of things)

but the DLH-Pac PPV will cost more (I believe $55) where Couture-Brock will be around $45

If I had to predict now I'd say DLH-Pac will sell more, simply because by the time the fight rolls around, and especially via another HBO 24-7 years I expect a lot more casual fans to be ****** into buying it.

**unless of course the 24/7 is a complete flop, very poorly done with a lame set up where Oscar pretends to act all tough and hard about getting revenge on his former trainer + beating Manny for 4 episodes. The TV show could make or break DLH-Pac IMO.
the 24/7 will start with Manny in dark shades stalking Hoya's 7 year old son (lets pretend he has one if he doesn't. he would be played by a 14 year old pretending to be 7). Hoya gets mad and wants to fight Hoya. Oscar's son says "it's ok dad, he's about my size, i can deal with it", Oscar refuses, turns to the camera and says "... son, this is personal".

Yes, but Kimbo is big because a boxing promoter hyped him up as big while trying to run an MMA organization like it was pro wrestling.

While Brock was big because of the WWE, if you take that away, he'll still a favorable commodity due to being an NCAA Heavyweight champ. Brock has a resume, Kimbo doesn't.

If we're going to fault wrestlers for joining pro wrestling because it pays big money and there's no professional organization for his type, we must also fault gymnists for doing acrobatic shows or figure skaters for doing ice shows.

                      You must've missed Kimbo/Thompson.

Kimbo got trounced until the ref stepped in.
