His chin is not that bad. thompson was early in his career and it was mainly due to stamina. it's obvious to anyone who has seen the fight. I would say his chin is slightly below average. Some peopl;e with very good chins have gone down including Naz and Barrera.

The fact is that we don't know how he can handle a shot from a guy who is a LEGIT HW. He has been down before vs smaller men so the chin question is very valid. Even the hohum contenders at heavyweight can knock you down, something that can't be said of other fighters in other divisions.

Any other ref would've stopped the fight...but the fight was in the UK and the biased British ref saved Haye and let the fight continue.
