Missing out on Skelton, Harrison, Khan and Mundine hasn't harmed anyone.
I would hate to be a US boxing fan!

I agree, some Yanks are so insulated, its unbelievable.
They call themselves fight fans yet no one bothered to watch a Super Middleweight Unification fight between two undefeated Champs cos it was in "Europe".
Thats where all the Calzaghe hate comes from. Most of these haters frame of reference comes soley from the Hopkins fight.Comment

Now im not saying that the US isn't great. Because it obviously is with producing classy fighters.
But US fans tend to disregard boxing to a point, where they don't watch any fights in Europe, Oceania and Asia. Always limited to whats put in front of them, which in a majority of cases is the best, however in a lot of cases the best is overseas, which isn't seen.
But for European and other boxing fans. The best which is sometimes in front of them is watched. On top of the best which is also in the US.
What im trying to get at is, European fans and Asian fans in some circumstances, watch the best quality boxing.
the best fighters always usually come to fight in the U.S. and if they don't they are not that significant. When foreign fighters come to the U.S. they are tested in ways that they are not tested in their native countries... Hamed came to the U.S. and got beat up by Barrera. Hatton came over and got beat up by Floyd. Calzaghe came over and barely beat Hopkins. etc...Comment

I watch all I get wind of. I like the cards in Germany as they put on really nice shows. Even if the card is not a big one, they have a way to make it feel that way. It is something they should implement in the US also.
I turn the sound off to watch the UK shows as the announcers are just atrocious.
I have found a way to mentally block out Jim lampley when watching HBO broadcasts.
I have a good thing going.Comment

really? is that why foreign fighters always come to fight in the U.S.???

Hatton beat several guys over there too before losing to the most gifted fighter in the world moving up in weight.
Lacy got a major beatdown cos he hadnt been tested that way in his native country.Comment

Same biased BS - different day. When you look in the mirror, other than the horrible ****ed up visage that stares back at you, do you realize what a ****** never ending prick you are? Or is just that you actually think you're objective and not obsessed with another country, it's fans and fighters?
goes by the name of briszpac signs are repetative ramblings, obsession with alt acounts, has a tendancy to headbutt walls and count matchsticks whilst staring into space with a vacant but humorous glint, tends to rue the days he was tooled by a certain poster!
please close all rational windows, logoff and reboot at once, preferably in the face and with slippers.lol.Comment
