      You can't seriously think that.

Did any of you people take a high school anatomy class at all?

all it is is the impact on the brain and how thick and thin certain parts of ur head are like the temple, when the chin gets hit and can cause a cause a chain reaction through the skull from impact shakin the brain around,

also did u know that u cannot feel pain on ur brain, the more u know

The only way the thickness of your skull would matter in this case is if you were getting beaten by a hammer.

When you get hit in the head, your brain sloshes around inside your skull. That is what causes it. There's no mysterious bone, or sonic shockwaves, or anything else. It's a simple concussion caused by impact and kinetic energy.

The body has in-built safety mechanism. When you get his, your body reacts by dropping out (ie knockdown) to avoid further punishment.

Everybody has it to varying degrees (pain tolerances/thresholds). The saving grace for chinny boxers is that one punch can KO them cold, and in later life their speech and co-ordination rarely get affected. However, those with stellar chins end up with slurred speech (Toney, Holyfield) etc.
