Why does this keep getting brought up when JC is retiring after defeating Jones?

Pavlik has a prime Abraham and Kessler ready to fight him. Why does he want to fight a 90 year old Hopkins and then a 86 year old Calzaghe instead?

So Joe fired Warren because he was pushing for the Pavlik fight ?!

If that's true, then it shows how serious Cal is about NOT fighting Pav, so the fight will NEVER HAPPEN!

... but I don't know if I'd be so quick to believe that's the reason Warren was fired.

Both fighters camps are getting ******. If they aren't fighting NOW why say anything. It's bloody ridiculous. The people that say Calzaghe is lying is because Kelly is an aggesive hard hitting american and would make Calzaghe quake in his boots it's bull. There both speaking out of there ass.

Calzaghe is respected by American boxing fans. But he has not reached that star level since he has not fought many prime fighters that we have ever heard about. He barely beat Bernard. And Roy will probably punish him. If he beats Roy and then fights Pavlik, he will have reached Stardom. Its not our fault that over the first 10 years of his career he hadn't fought anyone of noteworthy until Lacy 3 years ago. But now that he is, lets see what he can do. Can't retire until you have cleaned out. And you will still have to talk about Chad Dawson, the REAL Light Heavyweight Champ.
