I really appreciate about all your posts. There is really zero emotion in them, just good intellectual content.

I agree I think he loses some of this speed at 147.

His power may have been effective in the phantom sparring match up with Cotto. But DLH has fought legit middle weights and held his own for periods of time. DLH is a legit light middle weight. Marquez put damage on Pacman and EM did as well even as out of prime as he was. DLH is a very smart, strong, big, and quick fighter. His timing will make up for his speed loss. Pacman is very rhythmic and would be easy to time. DLH will break him down based on those JMM tapes and EMs first fight(where he was still out of prime).

This will be an easy fight on paper but Pacman has a lot of heart. Pacman could do well but I just feel his fan pleasing style is suicide against a bigger stronger and smarter fighter. Make no mistake DLH is the smarter fighter here. He is a professional.

You guys are saying he goes around at 150-160, well DLH was walking around at 180+ for a minute. This is a big guy, and he hits ****ing hard. Pacman got stung by Marquez, and Morales, these guys aren't in the same arena for power against DLH. Those guys are bantam weights/feather weights. Do you honestly think that he can hurt a DLH that we seen hurt only against some top notch punchers(world class power at welterweight or higher). Pacman became more of a accumulation puncher in the lightweight division, it wasn't one punch power like it had been.

It is a sad reality but Pacman has only one feature he is better in. Speed. Well his heart is huge.

Do you really think he significantly lost speed against Diaz?

No way in hell he ko's Pac who is more skilled and has more power than Forbes.

Exactly, Pacquiao's only advantage in this fight is speed and that could decrease with his move up in weight, as well as taking punches from a relatively big punching natural welterweight/junior middleweight. If he can get hurt from a left hook from Marquez, I'm pretty sure he'll get hurt from a left hook from DLH, who by the way, possesses one of the best left hooks in boxing today, even at his age.

Thanks for the compliment, I enjoy reading your posts as well.

Manny was actually 147 lbs. (based on the commentators) when he fought Diaz (who was 148 lbs.).

Team Pacquiao's plan is actually to enter the ring around that weight so you'll see the same speed that you saw against Diaz. He's just above 150 right now and he can concentrate on things other than losing the poundage and he'll be stronger on fight night because of the lesser effort to make the official weight. He'll be stronger than he's ever been but not necessarily stronger than Oscar who's the naturally bigger guy. Nevertheless, I doubt we'll be seeing Manny fight him weighing over 150 lbs inside the ring.

This is the same tact that Floyd did against Oscar: weighing 150 at the weigh-in and coming in even lighter during the actual fight.
