Joe Calzaghe Wants To End it With a Blaze of Glory

Joe Calzaghe has vowed to end his career in a blaze of glory when he fights Roy Jones Jr at New York’s Madison Square Garden on November 8, and he says the legal battle with his former promoter Frank Warren will not distract his preparations according to John Rawling of the British newspaper The Guardian. Calzaghe is full of **** beyond full of ****. I've never seen anyone stroke themselves off as frequently as this guy does. No Joe, you are not fighting the real Roy Jones. Everyone knows this and no one actually believes you are fighting the real Roy Jones.

Aye, the quotes in that article are pretty offensive, I agree. A boxer trying to hype a fight...you never hear of it!

He's not hyping the fight. He's defending the fight. You have a **** fight on your hands when You have to defend it rather than hype it. Calzaghe has to talk up his opponent instead of talking about how he's gonna kick RJJ's ass.

Still a little hung over from last night, but everything I'm saying is still true.

Isn't Blaze of Glory a Bon Jovi song? Funny choice.

Whenever you have to build your opponent up instead of tearing him down, something is awry. It's like with Oscar/Pac.. Oscar needs to defend fighting Pac.
