There is a very wide margin between Jeff Lacy and Kelly Pavlik, I know it and you know it.
It does get old hearing him bring up Kessler anytime anyone asks him about his legacy OR his future, almost seems like he is banking on Kessler to dominate after he is gone, and then ride his coat tails. Not a very good idea IMO considering we dont really know how well Kessler will stack up against the rest of the elite fighters in and around his division.

I have a hard time digesting the idea that Kessler is a better version of Pavlik. He takes complete bums the full 12 for a reason. You people don't know boxing.

pavlik and kessler don't have much in common besides they're both white professional fighters. pavlik and lacy have nothing in common, lacy has no fundamentals, anyone that's actually seen him fight would know this. kessler's technique is better than pavlik's, but i don't buy his power being better or that he's stronger. pavlik is more agressive, stronger mentally and has more heart. kessler fights the bums like beyer, sartison and mundine because they're easy wins for someone with no heart. calzaghe - pavlik wouldn't look anything like the fight with kessler because pavlik is maybe a little less skilled than kessler but mentally / physically stronger. pavlik wouldn't need to dance for 12 rounds against a bum like mundine, he'd take him out in 7 or 8, even if he had to get up off the floor to do it. that's not much like kessler at all

Your basic recent boxing knowledge needs some work. It make you look like one of those typical hometeam cheerleaders. Like BMWM3P is for Cotto.




But the first Abraham-Miranda fight didn't soften Miranda up. I give you that.
