    Trinidad slams De La Hoya-Pacquiao

Felix Trinidad on De la Hoya-Pacquiao: This fight shouldn´t take place. There is too much weight and size difference. Boxing´s credibility is at stake here.

Why was it okay for Pac to go way up to fight Oscar but Oscar won't go up to fight Trinidad? I'm starting to smell a bitaaaaaaaaaaaaaach.....

Do you have a link to confirm that Trinidud said this? Or are you just pulling quotes out of your ass?

If he did say this then he needs to criticize himself for fighting Roy and beating up on smaller guys too when he was a welterweight.

Trinidad never fought anybody two divisions beneath him while he was a weltweight champion. Certainly not Yori boy Campas.I don't know if Tito really said that or not but the fact that Delahoya fought Hopkins with a contract that did not allow Hopkins to weigh more than 157 gives validity to the argument. Not to mention that he wanted Mayweather at 154 and not 147, yet he's willing to fight at 147 for this fight and was for Hatton. Oscar is fighting an opponent who is probably 20 pounds lighter than he is. Delahoya is very manipulative when it comes to that kind of edge because he knows he brings the money.

oscar had his demands for the first fight; saying trinidad wasn't worth a certain kinda money.tito went and did the same thing.he had his demands.he had a win over him.plain and simple.oscar cares just as much about his legacy as trinidad.fighting floyd pac don't mean nothing but a ton of money.period.

LOL@ Trinidad worrying about boxings "credibility". This is a guy that refuses to fight below 170 because his fat lazy ass doesn't wanna train. And this is a guy who refuses to fight anyone other then Hopkins or Delahoya.. Hopkins is what? 42 or 43 now? And Delahoya lost how many fights already? It's obvious to everyone that Trinidad is just chasing dollar signs. He's just mad that he's not cashing in on a fight. Tito go retire you're DONE.

                Trinidad slams De La Hoya-Pacquiao
                By Robert Coster
Last minute statements from boxers and personalities from the big triple-title card being held at the Figali Center in Panama City:
Ricardo "Maestrito" Cordoba: Luis Perez is an excellent boxer but I´m confident. For once, I´m fighting for a title in front of my home crowd and the belt is staying in Panama!
Luis Perez: I have date with history. I want to win threee titles in three divisions. I´m in the best shape of my life. I´m taking the belt to Nicaragua!
Anselmo Moreno: I have no doubt about winning tonight.
Felix Trinidad on De la Hoya-Pacquiao: This fight shouldn´t take place. There is too much weight and size difference. Boxing´s credibility is at stake here.
Gilbert Mendoza Jr: This KO to Drugs is historic in Panama because for the first time there will be three title bouts in the country. Each year this event is gaining in importance and so is the message that we want to get through: no to drugs.
The card will be televised by TVMAX (channel 9) in Panama. Click here for weigh-in photo gallery...
