    Yes...that's why so many people thought Kessler would beat Calzaghe - he LOOKS so good in the ring with those "skills." Until he was matched against an elite opponent...then he looked like a fish out of water who had few answers.

    And while it's true that sometimes a guy without a great win can beat one who has a few, that is the exception not the rule. In the case of Mikkel Kessler, I don't buy it. His best win is still...losing to Joe Calzaghe.

        Eubank, Kessler and possibly Hopkins would have beaten him so I voted worse. If Pavlik were to fight Kessler, Eubank at the stages Calzaghe fought them at (very early and very late) then I think Pavlik would fare much worse. Mitchell-Pavlik would have been great and Brewer-Pavlik.

          i don't think pavlik can beat kessler, but that's no reason for calzaghe to duck pavlik.
