JCC jr ready for the big time?

Is JCC jr ready for the best at 147 or 154? I think his team has mothballed him enough and it's time to see if he's the goods or if he's living off his old man's name like Marvis. Thoughts?

Well the only way to find out is to throw him in with the top guys and at 154 there's a good chance he could win a belt or 2.

No he is not. He needs 10 fights imo before he challenges p4p best

In 2 to 3 years from now the 154 lb weight class is going to be loaded. I just don't see him being a world class fighter.

I'm not saying the P4P best but at 154 where the ranks are pretty thin I think he could win a belt but it's about time we found out if jr is anywhere near as good as JCC was.

Well lets look at 154 right now: Forrest and Dzinziruk are probably the best guys with a few spoilers like Santos, Spinks, Kirkland lingering but I'd say jr probably beats Phillips and in the least he should be fighting for a belt by now. What are his team waiting for?

                  VANES MARTIROSYAN (20-0, 13KOs)
                  ALFREDO ANGULO (13-0, 10KOs)
                  JAMES KIRKLAND (23-0, 20 KOs)
                  MEAN JOE GREENE (20-0, 14KOs)
                  YURI FOREMAN (25-0, 8KOs)

I consider all those fighters better than Chavez.

Well based on the level of comp. it's hard to say if JCC jr hasnt fought just as good guys as the ones you listed, but still the question remains why are his team stalling.
