    He should be retired.

Roy fell off the mountain, but has climbed back up it. On the way back up he fought top 10 contenders, Prince Badi? and Hanshaw were both ranked in the top 10 at the times of their fights and Roy wasn't. How many of you thought he would lose to Tito? Roy IS Relevant again and still the biggest name at Light Heavy whether you believe it or not. Name one other Light Heavy who has been on PPV in the last 3 years. All of Roys fights have been. And yes, he co-promoted all of those fights. Calzaghe and Bernard were on regular HBO, not PPV.

Ok a few things wrong here. First RJJ hasnt been relevant since he was KO'ed back to back in 2004. Beating a few pugs (although Hanshaw> Badi) and then beating a guy that hadn't fought since Winky outclassed him doesn't make you relevant all of a sudden. It makes you a very smart matchmaker. If Roy wanted to be relevant he would have fought Dawson before Johnson did or hell fought both because beating those type of guys puts you in line for the legit title. RJJ is living off his name not the little he's done in the 5 years since he sc****d by Tarver. Also RJJ-Tito sold well but Tito always was a great PPV draw, RJJ-Badi I believe got 30k buys hardly relevant....

            Yawn now! Sleep later!!

Calzaghe only chance to win is by putting some power on those punches. If he fails to give something for Roy to think about, Jones will steadily gain momentum and begin to counter and unload vicious combos on Calzaghe and put a smile on that face. Now that being said if Roy decides to become passive and lay on the ropes look for an easy decision in favor of Calzaghe. Overall, look for three rounds of action and nine rounds telling yourself of I wish this fight happened in 2002. RJ by UD in 12.

RJJ hasnt beaten any top fighters in FIVE years!!!! so why would he all of a sudden beat a slightly past his best Calzaghe who's coming off several good years where he's cleaned out the 168 class and beaten an ATG in Hopkins. Are you telling us that Jones has been mothballing himself for 5 years just so he could save his energy to beat Joe?

Have you watched Roy Jones before???????

If you did you would know Jones is scared of "POWER" at this point in his career.

Will Joe present that ONE PUNCH power with his glass hands that will have Roy punch shy and or scared???? I'll answer for you.

                NO................................................ .................

So what's your point? Are you saying RJJ chose Cal because he knows Joe has feather fists?

I'm sure it was one of the many. Think about it. How many fights have Jones lost not counting the DQ? Answer.......3

2 are from "one punch KO's"

The other was from points to a guy that KO'ed him the last time they fought. Meaning he was scared and punch shy. (Also watch Round 5 of Tarver 3 and you will see a confident Roy)

Over all point. Jones has ONLY lost once on points and to a guy that had him punch shy and scared.

NOW, Joe Calzaghe. When was the last time lil joey KO'ed anyone. When was the last time he really hurt someone? When was the last time he actually followed through with his punches? When was his last wrist injury? Will he be 100% to fight? Think about..... I'm sure Roy has more than what I have..... There are MANY reasons why.

I mean why wouldn't he want to fight a ***** slapper... Think about lil guy...

Your a fighter and you have a weak chin, who do you want to fight?????????

I would want to fight a guy who gets knocked on his ass in the first round by a little punch thrown by a 43 year old man. I would want to fight a guy that only slaps and hasn't ko'ed anyone in years. i would want to fight a guy that I will have nothing to fear of other than his "work rate" in which he thinks is going to win him the fight. I want to fight this guy because this guy will make me lots of money........

But hey that's just me... I'm sure Roy has his thoughts on it as well.......
