Your insistence and response frustrates me, because you can't get away from these facts which largely take apart your more personal view not so reflective of the facts. "When did Calzaghe last hurt someone or knock them down".

I've answered that. As a matter of fact Calzaghe knocked down Lacy, did hurt him and many even commentators thought he was taking such a beating it should have been stopped, result TKO. Kessler factually was hurt, his eye closed up and he admitted being hurt by ONE of Calzaghes shots in particular, that could have gone on to be a TKO.

Roys weak chin won't be a factor in this fight?

Wrong. Why. Because a weak chin is a factor in every fight.

If Calzaghe can hurt stronger, tougher chinned guys like Lacy and Kessler, how is Roy somehow any less likely to be hurt just the same? He's not.

I've gone on to explain, that Calzaghe will hit harder at LHW, couldn't against a running Hops, and may be less cautious with his hands, i.e sit on a few more.

      Anyway, lets leave that.

I see Bernard troubling and confusing Pavlik quite a bit. He'll be ducking and weaving, hopefully manoeuvring cleverly away from straight punches to counter. Pavlik will be expecting this however, so if he's clever he'll be practising things that address this in sparring. I think Pavlik may be cautious early on with Nard taking many of the early rounds. Pavlik will begin to find partially effective ways to deal with Bernards super defence and countering around round 5. He'll get slightly frustrated around this time however, and may swing some very hard shots. Whether one lands or whether he get's countered in some of these will be crucial to the outcome. I've got Pavlik by UD, but I would not be at all surprised by Hopkins stealing it. Pavlik won't look great and could be schooled just enough to be robbed.

Interestingly, Pavlik said "It's highly unlikely Joe will get past Roy Jones Jnr".
Only have a min....I just got back from camping and I gotta run.

I agree on your post. I know I was the one asking who and when and bla bla bla.

But I also said Roy is no one dimensional Kessler or Lacy. Again you just answered what I asked and that was who and when. I see your points on the names listed but Lacy was the guy supposed to kill Joe and when reality hit he was an over hyped armature. Kessler is a "one dimensional" fighter that still isn't anyone special. Yes, hes young and has a chin BUT Jones is about as slick as Hopkins when it comes to boxing and waaaay on another level than Kessler will ever be.

Jones is faster and can adapt to another fighter. Like I said I don't factor in Jones chin anymore than any other fighter and that is because it is boxing and anyone at anytime could get knocked out. But I don't see Joe Landing as clean as you think he will. most of the time he will get the clean shots will be the moments Jones backs himself up on the ropes calls Joe in to swing away and he will do "THE MANFREDO" dance. Almost like a magic trick. Joe Calzaghe should be called the magic man. he fools many people. I don't think he will pull off the wild shots against Jones to make it "appear" he landing more.

Seriously. He will look good punching Jones on the ropes because his fans (including the ref from the Manfredo fight) will think he will be landing bombs that could almost knock out Roy's mother.... While Jones will look around playing to the crowd probably laughing.. Seriously you know he will. EVEN if hes actually getting punched. He is and will make fun of Joe Calzaghs style and punching I promise......... He will have the crowd laughing at Joe. Because that's Roy.....

Anyway Roy has a weak chin. That was a few years ago and he as adapted a different style of fighting and protects himself a lot more. Like I said, I factor in joe's Power no more than I factored in Hop getting knocked out by mr power puncher joe Calzaghe.

Really dude. This fight will go all 12 as both of these guys have looked to do for a while now. I mean sure they would LOVE to knock the other out. But I doubt we will see it.

We will see an exciting fight. Or at least better than both guys last fight.

      PAV VS HOP:

I see pav talking over in the later rounds and winning like you said: UD.

But I gotta go... take care and I wasnt being disrespectful just in a hurry!!!!

Since when did Kessler become a tougher chinned guy?

Because he fought Joe and didn't get KO'd?

Who has he ever fought that significantly tested his chin?

        same for Lacy?
