IMO now that the fight is signed it will get heated. I think some of the REAL feelings of Jones will come out on the HBO 24/7 show. He wanted to be nice in front of the cameras at first. I know ROY'S REAL OPINION on Joe Calzaghe. Joe Claims to have called out Roy so many years ago. LIES.... He is now doing the same with Pavlik. Joe and his father are proven Hypocrites...

Someone said Roy is Irrelevant..... How so? What do you expect from a guy that LOST 3 times in a row (2 by way of KO) to do? You think he can just STEP in the ring with ANYONE and make himself relevant? No he had to fight nobodies to redeem himself and EARN a shot at fighting again and that is exactly what he is doing now. best fight for the biggest pay day out of any fight of today. Pretty smart if you ask me......... no damned smart!!!

Joe is expecting an easy fight by a "washed" up BIG NAME fighter who will "tire" half way while Joe can use his "workrate" to carry him to a win like he has been doing for so many years now. Well I think Joe is in for a treat...

I give Roy credit for fighting on though after those loses. After the brutal knockouts at age 35, he could have easily ended his career then. But Roy wanted to atleast try to end his career on a good note.

naaa he wont be back. When I speak of Roy, Im speaking of the current Roy. The Roy of today in my books can take on the glass fisted fighter that no one knew of until a few years ago. Jones of today is just slow enough and old enough to make it a good fight. jones of the good ol' days would have destroyed Joe Calzaghe. Hince why Joe said he didnt want to fight his hero Roy Jones jr back in his prime.....

Jones is playing mind games with Calzaghe but it means little unless his body can back it up.

yeah, I think he'll be nice and respectful right now and the **** talking will maybe come later on. In a promoting sense and a true feeling sense. Roy don't like Joe. Remember that. He may respect his "game" (understandable) but he don't like him one bit.
