You touched on something interesting there. Even if Joe were to fight and beat Pavlik, the Dawson bandwagon would start churning. Pavlik would become an overrated overhyped joke and we start over with "Dawson is the REAL deal, stop running Joe" threads.

as they should because as Joe said himself BHop is old and past it,so Calzaghe hasnt beat a legit LHW. If he gets past Jones and Pavlik, his last task would be Dawson. a YOUNGER hopkins beat tarver in 2006. did you read the article joe says pavlik will beat hopkins because he is old and should have retired, so he wasnt legit as say Dawson. kessler-unproven, hopkins and jones-old. those are names and not as much substance as pavlik and dawson. it shouldnt be too much for an "atg" ask joe fight dawson/pavlik. i apologize for being a boxing fan that wants to see him actually tested by fighters that arent past it and proven.

Somebody needs to tell this ****** that Calzaghe is a light-heavyweight and got offered a shot to defend his title against a light-heavyweight who is a legend and will make him far more money. Why would he reject that to fight some Middleweight guy who hasnt even proved he's the best Middleweight??

Tarver had an off night for some odd reason, lol after recovery won 2 fights and took belt from Woods. He would be on par with Hopkins as a LHW which his only wins were Tarver and Wright.
