for everyone that says marg is to big for shane think about this first. marg dont fight the way winky & vernon did. he wot use the jab & he will figt him close. shane will stick & move. he will be able to trade & since marg is slow & wide with his punches shane will get the best of the exchanges. everytime marg get to close he'll clinch
not allwing marg to throw damn near 100 punches a round(something cotto shouldve did). shane has the chin & stamina for this one. shane ud.

Margarito skills in no fashion can compare to a prime Forrest or Winky. Both are great boxers. Margarito has lost and more than once so he is not invincible. The major key to beating Margarito is body shots. Do not even look at his head. Cotto's problem was fighting on the defense too much and that puts you in a different mental state and when those "head" shots were not keeping Margarito off, it drained cotto mentally and physicially.
Shane will need to specialize his attack on Margaritos body. I would say at least 70% of his attack. Cotto stated that he could not hit the body of Margarito, I think he wasn't willing to take that chance but I know Shane will.

The Shane vs Mayorga fight is at 147. Don't think Shane will hold on the inside, just rip punches and slide away. It will be interesting to see if he can stand up to Margs body punches. I remember Vernon punishing Shane to the body in their first fight, but Margs cant box like Vernon. Hope Shane does not use his father as trainer.

I stand corrected. What a shame. If Mayorga wins, he will not have many options cause no WW will fight him since he is not ranked. I always thought he was better at WW. Either Shane wins a wide decision or gets beat down. If he can't make Margs miss and pay, it will be a long night.

If anyone thinks mosley would beat marg. if they fought..think again..mosley has nothin special ova cotto to even beat marg...what mosley got more speed and power all of the sudden did he bring back his prime days..nottt...I cant say mosley aint tough cause he sure is but I really feel that he wont be able to beat marg. he doesnt have more power than cotto to stop marg.. Cotto could beat marg.. it was his fight plan that got up to him he did alot of nice boxing but all that movement he was doin for the first 6 rounds wore him out..on top of margs. relentless pressure..second time around I think cotto will do his movements but in a more smarter way probably close to margs. chest and not alot of back peddling..
