floyd mayweather is great and all but margarito would brutally **** him up

margarito has never lost to a small guy, cotto made mosley look slow so cotto has great speed himself, floyd has better speed obviously and footwork but has much less power than cotto so cant hold marg off for the full 12.

look at the people he beat at 147 and tell me if marg could beat them, mitchell? marg tko 2 judah? marg tko 6 hatton? marg tko 4-5 and most people think marg would KO oscar too.

floyd is much better than marg p4p but floyd is a natural 140 lbs fighter, its like comparing him to pavlik, marg is just too big.

Who says he has to hold him off?...Mayweather can fight against the ropes. He'd lay on it as if it were his home. The **** is Margarito gonna do? Margarito has NOTHING that Floyd hasn't seen and Floyd has fought better infighters with better skillz.

margarito is so painfully underrated on these boards its sickening. people doubted him against cotto and he proved you all wrong, he would do the same to mayweather. margarito has a good defense (underrated) decent speed (not slow like made out) and great footwork to close down the gap between him and his opponent. cotto is a lot bigger than mayweather therefore he should be able to hold him off better, i dont see mayweather surviving the full 12 and especially dont see him winning with his poor punch out put.

Mayweather will make Tony look like TaTa all night long. Do you not realize styles make fights. Cotto would have a better chance against PBF than Tony. Cotto has just enough speed to keep up with PBF but not enough to keep away from Tony. Tony is just big and strong enough to walk through punches. If it wasn't for his great chin Cotto would had knock him out by the 4 or 5 round. And I really like all 3 fighters (one no more than the other).
