Malinaggi outclasses Hatton

You've obviously never seen Malignaggi fight then because he has never outclassed anyone. I have no idea where the myth that Malignaggi is a slick boxer originated from but it certainly wasn't his fights because he's about as slick as sandpaper.

Hatton isn't 36 y/o and has a lot more fire than N'Dou did. Maybe the rematch with Lovemore told a more accurate story.

I seriously think that if Malinaggi's hand doesn't fall apart he will totally outclass Hatton come fight night. Hatton looked really suspect in the ring before the marquez fight. What the hell was he there for anyway.Yeah we know you are signed to golden boy just relax and take your seat ringside.

I dont know, he didnt look to great vs Ndoujo and hatton is faster and rougher.

Anyone could outclass Lovemore Ndou... its like me saying: "YEAH I outclassed a 12 yr old boy, I'm an awesome boxer". (not like they;re comparement.

Malinaggi trying to keep Hatton off of him will be like throwing pebbles at an Elephant. Hatton is going to go right through Malinaggi and end his overrated mystique with a one sided decision. I will gladly bet on that.

I agree. You can't rely on beating Hatton with a jab the way he smothers his opponents and he's quite fast at gaining inside ground.

Paulie has shown that with his jab has enough sting to get respect from most of his opponents. He has also shown that the combination of his hand speed and footwork can give just about anyone a tough time.
I pretty much expect Ricky Hatton to win a competitive decision, 7-5 or so, against Paulie. But when I factor in Hatton swilling the beer and eating the fried red meats while Paulie is focused and training his ass off, I can see Paulie surprising us.
Either way its going to be a competitive and fun to watch.

I am not a fan of both of them but I don't think that Paulie has a jab that will command respect from Hatton. Hatton is going to keep pressing forward and
win an ugly fight. I say a 8-4 decision. I have not been impressed by both of them. I think that the 140 lb division is very disappointing from top to bottom. Who knows maybe Paulie can out box Hatton but I very much doubt that he outclasses him like the OP said.
