I Have Alot Of Respect For Trinidad, But His Legacy Is Being Tarnished. He Has No Leverage Or Merit To Earn A Fight With Hopkins Or De La Hoya. It's Like Seeing Brittany Spears Trying To Make It Big Again On These Big Award Shows. It Won't Happen. Its Obvious Trinidad Is Not Doing It For The Love The Sport, He's Only Init For The Money. That's Sad For A Fighter Who Really Fought With Pride And Heart. Trinidad Stay Retired And Keep What's Left Of Your Legacy Intact.

Tito has Zero Heart and balls

He is wack, everytime he gets beat he cries into his fathers arms and retires into a depression and comes back 2yrs later when his thinks his heart grew back. What happened when Winky wooped his ass with a jab he retired punk ass come back and fight again if your a fighter than fight dont go crying when you get beat...suck it up and keep fighting....NO ONE WANT TO SEE TITO AGAIN.....I gave up on him long time ago.

It's Funny How Papa Trinidad Contradicts Himself From Week To Week. The "only" Way A Delahoya Fight Happens Is For Tito To Come Down To 160 And He Better Not Even Think That Oscar Is Going To Give Him 50/50...it Wont Happen!! Oscar Will Take The Higher % And Tito's Pride Or Dumbness Wont Go With That. At The End Of The Day, They Need Oscar, Oscar Dont Need Them.......

The point IS....and this is probably very important for a genuine Latino, that Trinidad, in HIS day, was a far better fighter in every way than Oscar, a GENUINE man-killer, UNBEATABLE. It was always a question of how many rounds an opponent, no matter how unbeaten, no matter how good, would last against Trinidad.

He fought with a ZEST which was unusual even in the days of guys who loved to fight, and he had pin-point accuracy, and tremendous power in either hand. His defence really was his offence, although his head movement was very good.

He got knocked down , but never hurt, and he ALWAYS got up.

Because of his recent poor showings, mainly I think because of rust and disinterest, with a little "age" creeping in, and because there are many newcomers on this board who never saw the REAL Trinidad, people are dismissing him as a "never-was", which is the opposite of true.

Amongst experts, and those who saw him in his very long peak, he'll go down as probably the top welterweight of the last 20 years of the 20th cent.

Me for one saw Tito...damn that wasn't even that long ago for me. I still remember him as if it was last week. You can't take anything away from the man. He was a power to be reckoned with "in his heyday".

But let me ask all of you something, other than the money, what reason should Tito come back and what would it do for boxing in any way, shape, or form? And for those of you that would say that money is enough reason for him to come back, let me tell you it hurts boxing more than it helps it. Boxing has already given him plenty. Walk away gracefully and leave it at that.

Tito should not need the money (hopefully) and why would he want to?
It seems lately alot of great boxers all want one more fight, **** alot of these fights I wanted to see when both boxers were in their prime. Who gives a **** about old, aging, rheumatoid boxers? I certainly dont call this boxing at its best, it more like a sideshow.
