He's not on the list because he normally can't even draw "flies". Even I, who has watched every fight on TV available to me, at no matter what time of day or night, don't want to see a "Wright fight".
i think the same goes for nard... the only reason he mention his name is because he really thinks he can beat nard and we all know that bernard doesnt want 2 go thru the flag **** again..maybe calling his name will make nard upset and wanting to kick his ass again...he really wants to avange that loss.....
Roy Jones is much to big for him, and he shouodn't have fought him at all. Yet, he did very well, because he's basically a long retired fighter lacking incentive to fight. Money has never been the real incentive for Trinidad. He loved to fight as anyone could see, and it can also be seen in which fights he had no real interest.

B-Hop would take a rematch with him. I'm sure of it. As for DLH not too sure...I alwayz thought Tito didn't want anything to do with DLH, since DLH uses his name alot...Or so I've heard.
It was the other way round. Trinidad offered Oscar a rematch after their fight, and Oscar said no. The....long after he'd retired, with Trinidad walking around at 180+ Oscar suddenly got interested, and made a very well publicised visit to PR to havelunch with Trinidad, the reason being, as Oscar advertized, to tslk Trinidad into fighting him.
Trinidad said no, since he really was retired, and his father had made an emotional retirement speech too. Oscar's visit was just PR crap.
Oscar ALWAYS does things like that, making sure he has as big an "edge" as he can get.
It's Funny How Papa Trinidad Contradicts Himself From Week To Week. The "only" Way A Delahoya Fight Happens Is For Tito To Come Down To 160 And He Better Not Even Think That Oscar Is Going To Give Him 50/50...it Wont Happen!! Oscar Will Take The Higher % And Tito's Pride Or Dumbness Wont Go With That. At The End Of The Day, They Need Oscar, Oscar Dont Need Them.......
This is a worthless article, and I'll tell you why:
-Trinidad doesn't draw people anymore. He used to, but he's worthless now; for the networks, his opponents, and boxing legacy.
-He isn't interesting anymore, because he can't fight anymore.
-If a person has made the kind of money Tito has made and they can't retire, then they have to be financially ******ed.
-His name doesn't carry any weight in the sport anymore, while Hopkins and De La Hoya can still do whatever they want. He does have to earn it, and he doesn't want to put in the work to do so. He wants to stand there and get outclassed for a paycheck. DLH and B-Hop are still competitive enough to ignore that, and they'd be right for doing so.
-Boxing is not just about the money. It's competition, and entertainment. If a fighter can't provide a good amount of both, they don't deserve to get paid for not doing a job. If I stop doing my job at work, I get fired and won't get paid anymore. That's how it should be with Trinidad.
@mellow_mood: You have the worst arguments I have ever seen.

ABSO****INGLUTELY!!!
Well said! Me personally in case anyone cares, do not care to see these 2 fight again. It does nothing for the sport, which as it is, is in bad shape (corrupt). All of a sudden you have all these old fighters coming back for paychecks. As someone earlier posted that Trini had every right because he earned this right and that the promoters were putting together. Well, let me tell you something they are just as greedy as they have ever been. If they can get an old washed up fighter like Trinidad and DLH to get back in to a ring and have dumb asses pay to go see it or PPV then go right ahead. They are but a mere shadow of themselves and in my book do nothing for boxing, except taint it more. Whats next Ali?
Tito needs to prove his skills and intelligence outside the ring.
