Great wins where there are no excuses that can be made for the loser...

For Pacquiao-Barrera, there was Barrera's distractions from the fire at training camp, marital problems, the media asking too many questions about his metal head. People often now say Barrera was past it, although very few people said that in 2003.
With Mosley-DLH I, people say "DLH fought a dumb fight". Bob Arum tried to claim that DLH was tired because he didn't train hard enough (I don't buy that, DLH was in great shape). I don't think Arum said it to downgrade Mosley, he was trying to say that DLH wasn't focused enough.
People, at least on boxing forums, will usually find something to bring up and downgrade a win.
I rarely pay attention to the excuses.
In fact, if you wanna go back to Barerra-Morales 1 they had a built in excuse for Barrera even back then (he was past his prime).
Yes, they said it even back then...Comment

Really, I have a fairly ****ed up stomach, and there has never been a time that I have been so hurt by stomach cramps and I didn't need to take care of it, Andrew Lewis style.Comment

The punch itself wasn't lucky. Toney set it up with the right hands he was landing 8-10. It was like the Fraizer/Ali KD. He ****ed back with the right hand to open Nunn up, then let go of a perfect left hook.Comment
