Try reading the article Bigpop posted as the thread starter. It mentions why he didn't fight.

Its good to hear he is sorry for letting his fans down! I sure was mad as hell the fight didnt go as scheduled...I still dont think this apology will clear his name with some of the posters on here...They were looking for the smallest thing to hate on Guzman about and know they have it...I hope he can get it back on track.

I wish you can fix anything in life by just saying im sorry. GTFO sorry, still doesnt erase what you did! Nice way to save face, it's like you cheat on your girl and then say sorry and it's my fault and expect things to be better and forgotten.

Amazing how everybody suddenly feels for the guy. The only thing I feel for him is contempt and disrespect. The guy's a punk and I have no interest in ever seeing him again.

he never said he expected people to forget and forgive him.

He ****ed up, no doubt, but don't you think it's better to actually apologize for it rather then say nothing?

Nice **** in the avy btw! lol

well you would think someone whether they mean it or not would be forced to send out a letter like this, it's only for his own good and for the better of his career. This is normal anyone can see an apology coming what was he going to say "ah screw it who cares man" lol Not to mention he didn't write this letter.
