Only way to get back in the game is to get in the ring with a top lightweight real soon. Somebody atleast in the top ten.

I can relate to Guzman feeling sorry, with no one to blame but yourself and you feel like you damaged others in the process, i hope he copes with it moves on and people accept that he did the wrong thing and move on.

all this situation did for me is increase my respect for nate who i already had a lot of respect for . . . and make me lose all interest and respect for guzman. I really dont care if he doesn't get another shot at the belt, for the most part hes unproven and in no way busy enough of a fighter to be fighting for belts.

Apology accepted. I'm sure he feels really bad about the whole thing. Hopefully he can rebound from this soon, get in the ring and earn the people's respect again.

And lol @ suing him for $400k. He doesn't have any money. Yes, he should be fined something no doubt but don't be a greedy prick. He's not some rich athlete. He ****ed up, made a mistake. Let's see if he can prove himself once again.

Nate Campbell should be in a pretty good position for a possible fight with JMM now imo anyways.

Bold statement considering you're not Guzman or any member of his team and have no idea if he was physically up for the task or not.

You cant make a guy pay you for travel, hotels, meals, and especially the family members he brought in. Thats all things he would have paid for out of his $400K purse. So whatever amount was on the contract is all he gets. And legal fee's maybe.

why didnt he state that in his apology letter? He let many fans down that night that bought tickets to see an exciting fight..Campbell wanted the show to go on, he's apologizing for not making weight but why not fight??

i read an article that said guzman needed to go to the hospital for dehydration and after that is when Guzman camp decided not to go through with the bout. otherwise campbell was willing to fight him even if Guzman was overweight but no titles would be on the line.
