      If I remember correctly, promoters have cancellation insurance now that gaurantees fighters pay and other expenses if a card has to be cancelled, etc..... I heard that it is high dollar though.

        I'm glad he didn't go through with the fight. Had he fought, under those conditions, and fighting a tough guy who is bigger than him in Nate, this could've been a fatal fight for him.

          I can honor the apology, but the damage is done and cannot be overlooked or forgiven anytime soon. Same as when JL Castillo did this. Discrace to himself and fans, not to mention the broadcaster and the promotion.

                That was what he was anticipating. Collecting it will be a whole different story. Guzman has no money, and the people putting on the event are all suffering losses as well. This was why George Foreman always insisted on up front money before he would sign. Of course Nate doesn't have that type of leverage.

                      Well, he did his part. Lets hope he gets a good portion of his purse with expenses paid.
