He would get killed in the UFC. 80% of those fighters are elite fighters. My point is he is just starting his career and he is marketable and he is holding his own against who ever they put in front of him. the James Thompson fight is a "?" but it happens all the time in fights. But at the end of the day he has 0 loses. they are bring him up the right way (even though i don't think he would last long) and getting him good marketable fights.

His face looked like an unpaved back road for god's sake...just lumps and wholes everywhere!!! The mere fact that he is taking this fight further makes my point...he is washed up and is taking on anything and everything to make a few bucks here and there...that's why he is now Shame-rock...this fight or should I say BEAT DOWN does not prove a thing about Kimbo other than he is a bigass bastard who can punch the **** out of old defenseless has-beens…please

Now get him in there with Rampage, Cropcop, Fedor...**** even Chuck (I got KTFO by a chump)Liddell and have him beat them and I will start to give Kimbo the respect you all talk about…
Shamrock would be his best fight yet. If and I mean IF he get past Shamerock that would speak volumes for a rookie on skill fighter like him. So yes in his case Shamrock is a measuring stick for him!

I agree with this post. your first post made it seem like you think he is gonna have a bright future in MMA.

I think Kimbo would do well in the NAAFS.

Its not his fault the media hyped him up to be this beast of a man.
LOL you are funny, listen I like Kimbo as much as the next guy OK, he's a very cool dude outside of the ring, very humble and of course a product of ****** ass Miami so I gotta "keep it real" but dude Kimbo is too old and clearly does not have the stamina to keep up a 8-10-12 round fight against another HW. He struggled against Thompson last time and his groundwork is really bad, he's just being hyped because of the freakshow of the man that he is, so let's just leave it at that, he's better off in MMA.

Kimbo would not even be a fringe contender in boxing. I respect MMA but the talent pool is way smaller and thinner especially athletically. Kimbo would get KOed by journeymen in boxing.

In MMA he can be a fringe contender/journeyman. It's completely different.

Actually, he wouldn't live through MMA either. You need a great ground game to survive the scene.

This bout is a WWE-like hypejob
