Actually, I believe the great Khaosai Galaxy and Vitali Klitschko managed to make the transition from muay-thai and kick-boxing to boxing.In kick-boxingVitali got KTFO by Pele Reid,who himself couldn't make a success of his boxing career,despite having Brendan Ingle in his corner.

You mentioned Sefo above.Well this is what's likely to happen when solid punchers in other disciplines enter the ring against a decent professional.

Vitali was in kickboxing before he even started his boxing career. so if you think Vitali was young and green in his early boxing years, then he was practically a child while he was doing kickboxing. I think he ended up being some kind of champion, but Im not sure.
