If he gets KO'd by Mayo yeah he should walk. Otherwise, I think he's got enough fight left in him to win anotha belt before he quits.

I think you can make a stronger case for Mayorga to retire. Mosley beat Luis Collazo and stopped Fernando Vargas twice. Not to mention he has been fightuing top rated fighters like Cotto. Mayorga has been knocked out by both Delahoya and Trinidad. Other than winning a decision over a fat, washed up Vargas, who the hell has Mayorga beaten recently? To me it's disrespectful to mosley as a fighter when you focus on Mosley needing to retire while ignoring how overrated Mayorga is and has been for years now.

Thank you for clearing that up, I was really curious as to why you would think Mayorga had a chance to win this.

Depends on how he looks fighting Mayorga, I think the real question is should Mayorga retire, taking all the shots he's taken over the last few years cant be good to his health.

You know he won't lose to Mayorga although, I do give Ricardo a good shot tbh.

No, Shane shouldn't retire. He has shown he is atill competative with the best at 147. He beat Collazo who is top 10, and should be getting a title shot soon (He is the WBC Mandatory I believe) and fought a very close with Miguel Cotto, who until recently was the best 147 pounder.

I don't think he's a mandatory for any of the organizations right now, he was the WBO mandatory but it's not him anymore.
