If you asked them (Juanma & Wilfredo), they would probably claim to be "Negros" (or mixed) which can be the equivalent of being Black in America. While Blacks in America are American, "Negros" from Latin America are Latinos. Race is different than where one is from, geographically. You guys are talking apples and oranges.
