Now if Guzman doesn't get back into the ring, or is suspended for a year or whatever, then yeah your right, by the time he gets a shot it will be too late, which is sad because I believe he has the talent to be amongst the best. We shall see right
True, he has great talent, I love watching him fight. You're right, if he can get into the ring and make a statement he will make people forget, but he needs to get a decent oppenent and I don't know how many decent guys will risk it after him not making weight. He might be able to get someone at the bottom of the top 10 or just under I guess, Really it does depend on wether he is suspended or not.

well right, if it were up to me, I'd try to make him active. Fight some bottom level guy, on ESPN as soon as possible. Make him look good with a KO win. Then try to get him in the ring as soon as possible again, step up the competition then hopefully from there, something will open up.

One thing for sure is he isn't going to get any opportunities sitting on his ass

same here. Remember when Gamboa fought Darling Jimenez and the board went crazy talking about how he is so overrated cuz he got knocked down and only won 11 out of 12 rounds and didn't win by KO? Then 2 months pass and Gamboa knocks the **** out of Al Seeger in one round and there was a huge buzz about how great gamboa is and how much power he has, etc. That's how the game works!!

Even James Toney after semi-beating Rahman is being potentially matched up with everyone from David Haye to Wlad Klitschko! lol, like I said boxing fans = short term memories.

Well, that's all he will be doing. The Miss. Commission is placing him on indefinite administrative suspension with a likely 1 year minimum.

Does that apply to the other 49 states?

legally its not binding to other states, but typically other commissions will honor suspensions from another state. And we will be asking Tim Lukenoff from the ABC to issue a letter to each state commission asking for their respect and support of the suspension.
