As far as the manager goes, of course he is going to make statements that portray his fighter as a sympathetic figure in this ordeal. You'd be foolish to not expect as much.

I'm also sure that his manager understood the ramifications of pulling a no-show less than three hours before they are to take the stage. If you do that, your career and future is far from "brilliant".

Point is people were calling him a coward which I think is unfair since they all lack important information.

Sure, be pissed he didn't make weight and added too much muscle or whatever, but I think it's unfair to label him as a coward and the treatment on this board is a bit to harsh, imo.

I'm aware of that. I think the quote of nunez (where it came from) is real for sure. I also linked to seattlepi. We should still wait for further info.

Bottom line is of course it's disappointing....I've been a big guzman believer since I first saw him and was confident in him getting the win. I just feel people are being waaaaay too harsh though.

This is pretty contradictory to every significant report from reliable sources that I have read so far. I don't really believe it.
