He just comes across as a real genuine dude. I remember when he put the entire sport of boxing on blast after they denied him a shot at Juan Diaz. He's not in it for the fame and glamour. You can tell that he's in it to fight the best to be considered the best, and that you have to respect.
I remember reading an article leading up to his fight with Diaz. It stated that Campbell use to work in a supermarket (i think) and he use to shadow box in the back, when one of his co-workers watched him and told Campbell that he looked really good and should consider a career in boxing. Nate then went on and did just that.
I feel bad for a guy who grew up struggling to make it to the top, and when he's damn near it, some **** like this happens. **** Guzman's platano eating ass. He should be banned for 2yrs for pulling some ***** **** like that. Campbell even went on the record to say that he didnt care if Guzman's non making weight ass came in @160. All he wanted was to tax that ass and take his 0 away.
