Round 2: Johnson paws with the left even more, pushing it out slowly. He goes backwards and even gets caught on the ropes. Johnson is retreating on purpose, but all he seems to have is a jab. His counter-punching skills seem non-existent. He makes Seldon miss, but he doesn't seem to know how to use that to his advantage.
Round 3: Johnson lands a weak-looking arm punch. Seldon runs to the other side of the ring and goes down. He seemed to be down for 10, but apparently it was only 9.
Round 4: Johnson lands a counter punch. Hurrah!
Round 5: Johnson lands a right hand early on. Seldon goes down, the fight is stopped. The ref was blocking the camera a bit, but the punch really didn't look like it had much on it
Overall the guy just doesn't look that good. If your game plan is to go backwards, then you should have decent counter punching skills, and Johnson doesn't seem to. He doesn't throw combinations, his punches seem to have little/no power behind them, and he doesn't bring his left hand back fast enough after throwing a jab.
Maybe his other performances show him in a better light, but on the strength of this he doesn't seem to be particularly good.
