i don't speak spanish, but i'd imagine translating on the spot to hundreds of thousands of people isn't the easiest thing in the world. again, i don't know about spanish, but i know there are words and phrases in other languages that don't have a literal translation into english (and vice versa). it can't be easy to get everything 100% right 100% of the time.

When it comes to corner translation half the stuff people say doesnt really make any sense in the native language, so its going to be even worse when filtered through a translator.
