JMM may be technically superior but he doesn't have the same power of Mayweather, Casa, Castillo, and Freitas. Corrales was also long and dangerous when dialed in. Corrales doesn't get enough respect on these forums. Dude was a warrior. I'd like to see any former 122 pound fighter fight the deceased Corrales at 135. Pacman would IMO get rocked and possibly KO'd as well(I am going to get blown for that one).

Corrales hit ****ing hard and only lost to fighters that could be considered HOFs(except for Clottey at 149). Casa, Mayweather, and Castillo are all greats of our generation at 135. Kind of like Hearns lost to all the great fighters unfortunately.
      green k. good post!

JMM has the more impressive KO only because nobody saw it coming, some didn't even think he would win. Pacquiao you knew right from the first round he was going to kill Diaz.

The betting odds was 4-1 in favor of Marquez, everybody saw that coming, except maybe for the KO. Both guys KOs on their first fight as a lightweight are equally impressive in their own way, no need to downgrade or prop up their fallen victims as some of the posters here been saying...

The tougher opponet was Casamayor, and was also the bigger fighter in there. Diaz had no size advantage and isn't as good as Casamayor. And in my opinion, Casamayor looked like the one who fought Corrales the 3rd time. Casamayor didn't look old, not when the instant Marquez made a mistake Casamayor countered with a quickness. And Pacquiaos people made it clear they would never fight Casamayor, boxers give Pacquiao hell of problems. Just because Marquez beat Casamayor doesn't mean Pacquiao could.

Pacquiao would never have fought Casamayor thats the big differnce. Look at what Solis did to Pacquiao, Casamayor would make Pacquiao look silly. Besides the Delahoya fight Pacquiao is a guarded fighter.

                think pacs was more impressive
in terms of carryin his power up
cuz he left diaz out cold and prolly more beat up
the casa ko was pretty much from jmm percision punching n timen
i mean it was still thanks to his power
but we know he has skill like that
                both awsome tho

Diaz wasnt skilled at all... He was a pick em' fight for Pac just so he could get a belt at 135. Casa was way more skilled and one of the top fighters at lightweight. Marquez showed his skill and power and stopped a man that was never stopped before.

hmm.... its a toss-up. jmm knockouted a bonafide hall-of-famer who had never been ko'd. at the same time, casa was past his prime, though he still looked good in this fight.

manny, on the other hand, faced a less formidable opponent, but he displayed utter dominace over him. his physical abilities, speed and power seemed superior to juans at this weight. his lightweight display was total devestation.

im gonna go with pac. both were very, very impressive though!

We will never know, since Pac fought the least skilled man with a belt at 135. Diaz had no jab, foot work, counter punching ability, and skill... Compare to Casamayor. He was just tough.. But casa is Tough too, He was never Ko'd before unlike diaz. Its to bad Pacquiao didnt fight any elite fighters at 135.
