So who's 1st ko at 135 was more impressive PAC or JMM?

both ko'd their first opponents at 135. Both opponents were current champions in the division. Who looked more impressive. I honestly have to go with JMM since casa is a much bigger name and more skilled fighter than diaz.

Definitely Marquez' knockout of Casamayor for me, Casamayor had never been knocked out and is still a much better all around fighter than David Diaz.

There's no question Casamayor is a better fighter than Diaz, but if the two faced each other, that wouldn't be a sure win for Casa either. Pacman toyed with Diaz from round 1. While Casamayor made Marquez work, just look at Marquez face after the fight. If the left hands Marquez ate were from a prime Casamayor... We also have to realize that Casamayor isn't the same guy that fought Corrales, Castillo and Frietas, he's good but he's definitely old. Sta. Cruz defeated him already and Katsidis blasted him out of the ring - he was ready for the taking.

So which win made a better impression? I'd say Pac and only very very slightly... and only because he made winning against a lighweight look soooo easy.

i think overall the victory of pac over diaz is more impressive in a way that nobody thought that it will be that easy for PAC, he threw a shutout and clearly one of the best if the manny's best performance ...

but i think jmm's ko is more impressive, i was watching the fight live and going to the eleventh i was relaxed that jmm has it by taking the first minutes of the round and would have imho at least 3 rounds over casa, KNOWING casa's durability for me the ko was totally unexpected...

Marquez beat the better fighter but the fight was closer, Pacquiao shut out Diaz and Diaz beat the man that should have beaten Casa (santa cruz). I was more impressed by the shut out, domination KO win by Pacquiao not taking anything away from marquez.

I'm more impress with Pacquiao, he shut out Diaz. Pac is a better fighter a 135 than 130, he was struggling to make the weight for the fight agains Barrera II and Marquez II. Marquez is better at at 126 or 130. The fight last night was close. So Pac for me.

I agree that Casamayor is a different league than Diaz, but we are talking about a Casamayor before Santa Cruz and Katsidis.

JMM to me, Pacman beat the **** out of Diaz. But Casamayor is better than Diaz even at his age & he was never knocked out. Lets not forget all the big punchers Casamayor did KO.

JMM's was better, it came from a couple of well-placed punches rather than an accumulation of direct punches. Also because Casamayor is an excellent defensive fighter with a good chin who'd never been KOed before.

It seems everything between Pac and JMM is so close. When they fight and now comparing their first LW victories. Pac dominated Diaz basically from the first bell. I expected him to win easily, but not in the fashion that he did. Then JMM I figured it would be a close fight, but he still was going to win. Im going with JMM because Casa had never been stopped before and I wasn't expecting that at all.
