If Pac beats dela Hoya convincingly (which I think he'll lose by ko, given that dlh is a giant by his standard), then people would be saying Marquez is afraid of Pac.

I agree with you... they are saying a lot of things again as usual. maybe they have also to wait as what they did after their first match up. remember pacquiao wanted an immediate rematch but they turned him down and pacquiao waited for four years, and we heard nothing from pacquiao, he just waited... but according to Arum they are not closing the possibility of a third match up...

schaefer is insinuating this early pacman or his handlers are afraid of marquez. they are overwhelmed by jmm's demolition of casamayor. how about pacquiao's demolition of diaz? which fight do you think has a masterful display of boxing skills? certainly, it was pacquiao's.
but to entice pacquiao into fighting a boxer he already knockdowned 4 times, shaefer and gbp should offer pacquiao 15 million dollars. pacquiao has nothing to prove against marquez.
im sure pacquiao will not settle for less than that amount now that he is about to get about 20M dollars for fighting olden boy. to say that pacquiao is afraid of marquez is nothing but sheer rhetorics.
even ivan calderon will fight marquez if marquez will offer him 15M dollars. that's for sure.
