Now do people understand how good Marquez really is?

They use him as an excuse against Pacquiao by saying "Pacquiao has trouble with Marquez lolz" but in reality Marquez is probably the second best fighter out there bar non.

Casamayor was 37 years old and still game, but he had never been knocked out before, the fight wasn't even competative past round 3.

I was thinking Casamayor would have nailed Marquez with his straight left and knocked him down a few times, but I was wrong.

for me Marquez easily gets no.2 p4p because he deserves it, and the Casamayor win is actually pretty solid, even if he was a bit older (the age difference was only 2 years).

Sta. Cruz already beat Casamayor.. Plus Casamayor could have won that fight if it not for the KO..

JMM fought a retiring Barrera which Pac already demolished and fought Casamayor with his best days was the era of Corrales and Castillo.

Blah, blah, blah..... why didn't Pac fight him then? Why'd he take on diaz? Don't you remember Casa beating Katsidis not to long ago, who was concidered a very good up and coming fighter/

I always knew how good he was. He has shown how good a technical boxer he is in past fights. I expected him to beat Casa handily though. Perhaps not a KO win, but I thought he would take him with relative ease. Casa has deteriorated noticably in recent years. Still a very solid win though, especially as he was moving up. I would love to see Pac give JMM another shot.

Good and Upcoming fighter? Did you see his fight against Amonsot? Why did Marquez ducked Pac for 4 years when he was about to receive 800k purse then went to Indonesia for 30k and lost.. Pac beat him twice.. Casamayor's best days was 3-5 years ago.

I think Marquez gave Pacquiao hell, but I have Pacquiao winning both fights also by a hair.

If anything 2 draws would be good to, but that just looks bad.

The second fight was pretty much just back and forth, punches landed was almost equal, with Pacquiao scoring a knock down, giving him the win.
