No, it doesn't. JMM looked good but doesn't go above JC for mine. Casa was not a p4p ranked fighter.

your poll is misleading. It should be numbers 3-5...I'd put him #5 behind Hopkins and Vazquez

JMM beat Casa who was the light weight number 1
Calzaghe beat Hopkins who was light heavy weight number 1

Joe Calzaghe is undefeated, Marquez is not.

            Calzaghe:

Hopkins, kessler, lacy, Reid, Sheika, Eubank

              Yes, I think so.

Casamayor is about equal to Hopkins IMO. They are very similar: durable, tricky, dirty, and defensively skilled counterpunchers.

Casamayor had never been stopped before, and only been down a couple of times, like Hopkins.

JMM won by KO, Joe defeated Hopkins by what should have been a UD. Because of Joe's past hand injuries, he didn't have the power to KO Hopkins.

              JMM's win was more impressive.

But we should take into consideration Joe's win over Kessler last November, so he should not be any lower than 3.

I'm shocked... honestly. I thought you were a big Calzaghe fan?

Anyway, I think Marquez's resume is lacking quite a bit to be over Calzaghe.

Marquez beat an older Barrera, a just plain old Casamayor, and a lot of good fighters who aren't quite elite, but... he gets a lot of credit for his performances against Pacquiao.

Calzaghe beat undefeated Lacy in an extremely dominating fashion, undefeated Kessler in a pretty one-sided fight, and the top dog at LHW in Bernard Hopkins. He also has some good fighters mixed in there like Sakio Bika and the like.

I think Calzgahe is still #2, but he can't ease up... Marquez could pass him with one more marquis victory, and there are a ton of opponents at 135 who can give him just that, while Roy Jones Jr. just will not do much for Calzaghe's resume at this point.

Huh? A few days ago, some people were saying Casamayor was a guaranteed HOFer, and I think a couple of guys have him as an ATG.

Casamayor is an impressive win, probably the biggest of his career, but I had JMM at #1 on my P4P list long before this fight.
