Don't let Guzman off the hook

I'm glad to hear he at least tried to make weight on his second attempt. At least that's what they're reporting. But the fact is he still didn't make it the first time and deserves to lose a lot of respect. You don't get pity points for going to the hospital and canceling the fight. He still didn't make weight and I still don't respect the guy, but I'm glad to know he won't be dying in the ring tonight if he indeed tried to make weight. Who really knows

He doesn't get **** from me. If I was a guy in the 135,140 or 147 weight classes I would think twice when dealing with Guzman. Campbell just wasted months on this clown.

What can you do, it sucks, but it's better he is not fighting. Other wise Nate may have beaten him bad.

I expected better from Guzman but he didn't make the weight and the fight is cancelled now so there is no point going on about it anymore.

Little do people know how much muscle Guzman build and how he overdid it. The same people who called him feather fisted are talking **** NOW...him being able to lose the 3.5 was due to the muscle he gained. Guzman's objective seemed to have been to hurt Nate and not outbox. Cut him a break

No one is going to want to see this man in the ring again after this. Seriously. You can't pull this kind of **** when you're already a negative fighter that people don't consider exciting. He's had zero big fights, and now he'll probably never get one.

You can stand there and stick up for your countryman all day, but I'm just telling you the truth. This is a very, very debilitating blow to his career.

Have you noticed Showtime basically calling him a coward for not wanting to fight? I'm not saying he's a coward. I'm saying he's a moron, a clown, and a joke for not being able to make weight. Now we'll probably never find out how good this guy could have been.

Guzman can go **** himself, I hope he can only get on espn or worse. If Showtime or Hbo sign contracts with this little prick ever again, then they should feel ashamed.

Showtime won't, and I doubt HBO would pay to have him fight anyone other than Pacquiao or Marquez. No way either of them will waste their time with this guy. He's royally screwed and probably doesn't even realize it yet.
