They won't call off the fight. Big money loss.

In his last fight, he was defending the WBO 130-lb. title against Humberto Soto. In his first attempt at the weigh-in he was 132. He made the weight in his 2nd attempt but entered the ring re-hydrating a whopping 18 lbs. at 148.

Guzman is SORRY, cant even make weight in your lightweight debut. If I were his team I wouldnt even bother trying to fight. At this point your dehydrated and mentally not in there.. And people had high hopes for Guzman.

I guess ill be focusing more on JMM vs. Casa.

Guzman weighs almost 9 pounds more than he did for his previous fight, and he STILL was taken to the hospital to get rehydrated? I can't get my head around that.

In any case, I think the only thing keeping the fight alive is the money that could be lost by, basically, everyone.

It's a shame this **** has marred things because this was a potentially tremendous fight.

                  Thanks for the info.

18 lbs!!! That's sick! For sure that cannot be healthy.

Losing money is one thing, but endangering the health of a fighter needlessly is another.

he was supposed to defend his WBO 130lb title against alex arthur at earlier this year but pulled out and vacated due to not being able to make the weight anymore
